Stephen C. Puntar

Stephen C. Puntar, of Wallkill, NY, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024 at home. He was 76.

The son of the late Rudolpho and Gemma Nova Puntar, he was born February 23, 1948, in Brooklyn, NY.

Stephen worked as the superintendent of buildings and grounds for the Valley Central School District, Montgomery, NY.

He enjoyed building model trains and loved to go fishing and camping with his family. Stephen also always enjoyed watching his grandsons play sports and his granddaughters at their dance recitals.

He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen Puntar.

Stephen is survived by his daughter Dina DeGroodt and Dave, son Stephen Puntar and Joedy, son Scott Puntar and Meghan, daughter-in-law Abby Puntar, and grandchildren David, Dylan, Danny, Leila and Ava.

Cremation and services will take place privately.
