Terry Gouger

Terry Gouger of Pennsylvania and New York died on Sunday, July 25, 2021, in Goshen.  He was 66.

The son of the late Gilbert (Chubb) and Betty (Dennis) Gouger, he was born September 27, 1954 in East Stroudsburg, PA.

Terry was extremely instrumental in the success of his employer at Fabricated Component, Inc. Terry’s tenure started in 1997 where he ran the department of turret presses and lasers. His vast knowledge of metal fabrication then manifested his position into supervisor where he oversaw the night shift staff and all operations that accompanied the output of production. Terry’s performance and unprecedented dedication to his job was well noted by all. Terry wasn’t just an employee he was family to Fabricated Components and loved his job. Terry will be solely missed by all that had the pleasure of working alongside of him.   Prior to working at Fabricated Component, Inc, Terry worked at Banner Metal, as well as being a short order cook.

Terry loved his family and camping. 

Survivors include his son Jonathan and his fiancé Shannon O’Shea of Hopewell Junction, NY, son Russell and his fiancé Lilia Poppendeck of West Seneca, NY, Dorothy Gouger – Ex-wife, best friend and caregiver of Montgomery, NY; brother Billy of Stroudsburg, PA, brother Chris of Stroudsburg, PA; stepmother Roseann Gouger, of Stroudsburg, PA, mother-in-law Jane Savage, of Kunkletown, PA; many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brother Jim, brother John & sister Ginger Henry

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
