Trudy Darlene Scott, of Montgomery and Middletown N.Y., lifelong resident of the area, passed away peacefully at age of 74 at Garnett Health Center, Middletown, N.Y. on December 20, 2025.
Trudy, A loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was well loved and loved her family and absolutely lived for her Granddaughters and nobody was left unsure of that.
Trudy was born on September 24, 1951 to Thomas Miller and Alice K. Miller in Stony Point, N.Y.
Trudy attended Valley Central High School. Trudy worked at Sew Easy in Walden N.Y. and was a close friend and Personal Assistant to the “First Lady of Orange County”, Amy Bull Christ. Trudy and Amy would talk about recipes, the Holidays, Country Living and the way things used to be. Trudy was active with Amy in the “Friends of Hill hold Museum” association. Trudy for many years supported her sons in their hobbies of Showing Exhibition Poultry, Exhibition Rabbits and “4-H”.
Trudy was Married for 46 years and predeceased by husband Dwight Wellington James Scott, Owner/Operator of D.W. Scott Water Systems of Middletown, N.Y.
Trudy is survived by sons Dwight Wellington James Scott II of Middletown, N.Y., Daniel Wellington Thomas Scott and his wife Keirstin Johnson Scott of Newburgh, N.Y. Granddaughters Jaidyn Leann Scott, Ashlee Jordyn Scott, Danielle Erin Scott and Addison Evelyn Scott of Newburgh, N.Y.
Friends may call at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union Str. Montgomery, N.Y. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 4-7:00PM.
