Virginia C. Lindahl

Virginia "Ginger" C. Lindahl of Middletown, NY, passed away surrounded by loved ones, on Wednesday March 26, 2025, in Middletown, NY . She was 84.

The Daughter of the late Nicholas Ferrone and Josephine Foley Ferrone, born in 1940 in Englewood, NJ. Along with her Husband and Parents, she was predeceased by her Brother Nicholas "Nicky" Ferrone, her Sister, Joanne "Annie" Ferrone, Sister Marie "Ree" Ferrone, her Niece, Debbie and Nephew Stevie.

She was the Widow of Eric Lindahl, Sr. She is survived by her Son Eric Lindahl, Jr. & his Wife, Sue; Daughter, Cindy Dickman & her Husband, Robert; Five Grandchildren: Amanda, Brianna & Joseph Dickman, Eric III & Taylor Lindahl & Great Grandson, Jase Housman.

Ginger worked as a teacher's aide for Circleville Elementary School, Circleville, NY. She enjoyed fishing with her late Husband, and spending Saturdays at OCFS with her race family. She was a huge sports fan, particularly fond of the NY Mets & Dallas Cowboys. She also enjoyed crafting, gardening and spending time with family.

Ginger’s motivation to persevere through challenges and live on was driven by her deep bond and desire to protect and be present for loved ones. A special thanks to her amazing team of Doctors, and the entire second floor at Garnet Medical Center, in Middletown, NY. Thank you for treating our Family, like your Family.

Memorial visitation will take place Friday, April 11, 2025, 6pm-730pm at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549.

A service will follow at 8pm at the funeral home.
