Wayne Davenport Obituary

Wayne Davenport of Wallkill, NY, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024. He was 70.

The son of the late Frederick and Katherine Kraus Davenport, he was born January 23, 1954 in Newburgh, NY.

Wayne was a retired corrections officer from Shawangunk Correctional Facility, Wallkill, NY.

Survivors include his brothers Fred Davenport & Michelle, Alan Davenport, Richard Davenport & Roxie, Godson Shawn Brooks, and extended family

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his Godson Paul Ostrander

Cremation will take place privately.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
