William J. Cromwell

William J. Cromwell of New Windsor, NY, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020, in New Windsor.  He was 86.

The son of the late Frank and Jennie Lott Cromwell, he was born June 25, 1934 in Newburgh.

William was a retired custodian for East Coldenham Elementary School.

He was the widower of Gertrude Jones Cromwell and survived by his partner and friend Myrna Seneca.

Survivors include his Daughters Nancy Mitchell of Minot, ND, Susan Beer and husband Eric of Goodyear, AZ, Laura Cromwell Fredricks and husband Steven of West Milford, NJ, Mary Cable Davis and husband Rob of Niota, TN, Melissa Cromwell of Newburgh, Amy Van Tassell and husband Glendon of Cable, OH; extended family members Dan and Maria Searing of New Windsor, NY; 
Grand Children Chrisanna Mitchell (Drew Radam) and Daryl Mitchell, Kevin Smith Jr., Brian and Krystal Smith, Robert and Jessica Cable, Bethany and Amber Blankenship, Hope Ransom, Catherine, Dylan, Savannah, and Adam Van Tassell, Erica Beer and Mark Jackson and Patrick Searing;
Great grandchildren Evan Cable, Giovanni Venuti, Amelia Grace Cable, Aiden and Mason Casholle, Noah Smith, Norah McLaughlin and Sadie Mae Jackson

Along with his wife and his parents, he was predeceased by Renee Beer (Grandchild) and Gaven VanTassell (Grandchild) and Beloved pet Mitsy Searing.

A graveside service will be held Friday, September 18th, at 11am, at Wallkill Valley Cemetery, followed by a small celebration of life for William at Wooster's Grove.
