William R. Puetz

William Richard Puetz passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, in Lake Katrine, NY.  He was 64.

The son of Janet Puetz and the late William Puetz Sr., he was born September 9, 1959 in Newburgh, NY.

Billy grew up with a love of sports, especially hockey. He played for the Yankees AAA team. He was a graduate of Bourne High School, Massachusetts.

Survivors include his longtime companion  Martha  Wilson, mother Janet Puetz, sister Sherry  Puetz, sister Lisa Puetz, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was predeceased by his son Tyler Puetz and father William Puetz Sr.

Visitation will be Friday, December 8, 2023, 6pm-8pm, at Wallkill funeral Home, 12 Bona Ventura Ave., Wallkill, NY 12589.

A prayer service will take place at 7:15pm.

Cremation will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Wallkill Fire House or the Wallkill Reformed Church.
