I only found out a few minutes ago from Joan Malcolm of dear Carol's passing. I am so very sorry. I had the pleasure of visiting with Carol this past summer when 6 of our Nyack High School girlfriends were able to get together for a wonderful visit. Carol was maid of honor at my June, 1956 wedding in Nyack, a few months before she and Bill were married. We saw each other through the years, but I never lived close enough to see our group too often. Fortunately our class of 1951 had many reunions which were always wonderful. Carol was an amazing, kind woman, who I was in awe of in high school, and who raised, with Bill, an outstanding family. I send my deepest sympathy and love to all of you. Carole Fabend Watrel
