Christie - and Darren, Joshua, Chase, Linnea -- I was one of Dave's coworkers from 2006 - 2012,. Regret I just learned of his passing today, so couldn't attend the funeral service, after following his battle, first through him directly and then Christie via your posts. He will be remembered, and missed by his friends and colleagues; though not as much as by all of you, and is different ways. No one is as close as family. We never can grasp why someone gets taken so young, and after so much struggle that affect the whole family. I am deeply sorry for your loss,

Dear Friedland family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved David. The death of a loved one is never easy. But the Bible has so much comfort for us. Especially the scripture at Revelation 21:4. This is the wonderful promise that death will be no more along with the suffering it causes. I know you are all suffering right now but please let this scripture along with many others bring you much comfort.

I am very sorry to hear of David's passing. He was a good soul who left too soon. Although it has been many years since I last saw him (or any of you), memories of the times in your household as a kid always make me smile. I hope such memories provide you with comfort and joy in this difficult time.
