Edward W Conroy Jr. of Pine Bush, NY, a retired Corrections Officer  
and a lifelong resident of the area passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at home in Pine Bush.  He was 96. 

The son of the late Edward W. Conroy and Annabelle Rau Dominick, he was born April 21, 1920 in Newburgh, New York.
He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant in the Army during World War II and fought in The Battle of the Bulge. He was fortunate to be on the Honor Flight in April of 2014. 

He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Edward was a private pilot, he owned a Restaurant and was also a Mac Tool Distributor.
He was the widower of Ernestine R Conroy.

Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday, April 29, 2016 at Millspaugh Funeal Home, 22 Bank St. Walden, NY 12586. 
A Celebration of his life will be 11 am Saturday April 30, 2016, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2520 Route 208, Walden, NY.  Pastor Ryan Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, NY.
