This is late because I just found about Lyn. I knew Lyn for 2 1/2 years when she was my manager. I never actually met her in real life as all of our interactions were virtual or on the phone, but I felt that she was not only a great manager but a good friend as well. She believed in me and empowered me to do my best work. We shared a love of technology and cats. I know that she struggled with taking care of her parents whose health was failing. I suppose that it is a blessing that they preceded her for I do not think that she would want to burden them with her passing. She was the kind of person who gave her best and asked little in return. Even though it has been a few years since we talked I am shocked and saddened by her death and I miss her greatly.
RIP

Unfortunately, one of our sweetest colleagues was "outsourced" by God on her "transition" to help those in IT Heaven. We are saddened many of us could not have "linked" with the greatest mentor and kindest person, that God "impromptu" "hired" at such a young age. "Corporate" life "terminated" here for her...but "memories" of her do exist among our brain "storage" "cells."...The next "meeting" for the "group" will be in the "Cloud"...Rest In Peace Lyn Stuhmer. A good life that ended too soon. Garfield, Larry the LL, compulert, ABARS, UNIX Admin of course, oh yeah Juke Box Eddies. But mainly lunch at Short Hills AT&T and Whippany AT&T where we all got to know each other, the UNIX Administration team. Lyn Stuhmer was our leader and mentor and our personal friend. Lyn was a technologist but I think she was a perfect homemaker. Her Baking, stitching, home decor. Her Jewelry passion with Roz was after my time, I missed that. The last time I saw Lyn was dinner at Chimney Rock and mini golf. Lyn RIP, but you went way too soon. Well now you know what we will all eventually learn.
