Dear Rita, Danielle and Family,
I was very saddened to hear about Mike's passing and so sorry that Rose and I were not there to provide comfort. Mike and his wonderful daughter Danielle were among the first friendly faces that Rose and I had the pleasure of getting to know when we moved to Wallkill from Brooklyn back in 1991; Mike with Danielle in tow oftentimes, would deliver the Record to our doorstep and we enjoyed getting to know them both and later Rita. Mike was and affable man and always took the time to talk with you and inquire about you and your family's well being. He was good man, a good friend and neighbor and no doubt a great father, husband and grandfather.
We will miss Mike and consider our lives enriched by having known him.
God's blessings to Rita, Danielle and the rest of his family............

Sorry to hear of Mike's passing Rita and family.
My dad died on the same day last week as well. These cement shoes that we wear will drag for awhile. One step at a time. One day at a time. Peace be with you all.

I was saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I think back fondly of the days when he was our paper guy. He would stop by on a Saturday to collect for the paper and stay for about 45 minutes to chat and fill in the events of the neighborhood. He always brought a smile to me and my sons. He was such a nice man. My sympathies go out to Rita and the girls and their families, as well as Mike's other children and grandchildren.

My dearest friend Gina, my family sends our deepest sympathies to you,Joe, Montana, Austin, and the rest of the Algiere family. We are here for you and your family during this time. Please don't hesitate to ask for anything should you or your family need something. May your family have safe travels to NY to celebrate your father's life. May you find comfort in knowing your dad is at peace with our Lord and is in no longer suffering in pain. He is on God's golden shores smiling down on his loved ones.
