Richard McClintock of Montgomery, NY, a retired Sergeant for the NYPD,
and a longtime resident of the area passed away suddenly on Wednesday November 2, 2016, in New York City. He was 73.
The son of William McClintock and Evelyn Gregg McClintock, he was born May 03, 1943 in New York City.
He is a veteran of the US Army.
He was a member of Holy Name of Mary Church in Montgomery, The Montgomery Breakfast Club and the Winding Hills Golf League. in addition Richard was a member of the NYPD Emerald Society, and a member of the 44 Forever Club. During his 33 year carreer, Richard was assigned to the 20 Pct., 44 Pct., and retired as a Sergeant from MNTF.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Naughton McClintock of 46 years, sons Brian McClintock and his wife Heather of Floral Park, NY, Kevin McClintock and his wife Desiree of Sunrise, FL
and Patrick McClintock and his wife Sheila of the Bronx, NY; 3 Grandchildren: Connor, Finbar, & MaryGrace , sister, Maureen Fincher and her husband Douglas of Charlotte, NC, brother, Raymond McClintock and his wife Mio of Rock Hill, SC, sister-in-law Margaret and her husband Michael Burns, brother-in-law Stephen Naughton and his wife Gladys, brother-in-law Thomas Naughton; numerous nieces and nephews: Mary Beth, Michael, & Kara Burns; Kelly McClintock-Brooks & Robyn McClintock ; & Catherine Naughton
He was predeceased by his Brothers: Robert and Rory McClintock.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 5, 2016 and Sunday November 6, 2016 from 2-5 pm. at the Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden, NY.
A funeral mass will be Monday November 7, 2016, 10:30 A.M. at Holy Name of Mary Church, 89 Union St., Montgomery, NY.
