Robert was my next door neighbor and my best friend through elementary and Jr High. We hung out together every day and had some great times and memories. During the summer months I still remember his mom calling his name outside to join his brother John so they could go to Fellers Pool and later Hilmar lodge for swimming. It didn't matter where we were but Robert could hear his moms call that it was time to come home.
You could almost set your watch :-). He was a great friend back then and he will be missed. My condolences to his family, brothers and children.

Roger, George & John,
Rob was such a great guy...always making people laugh, and enjoying life!! I'm going to miss running into him at McDonald's in Middletown. We always had such nice conversations, and he was always upbeat and smiling. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very painful and difficult time.

All my prayers and sympathies to the family and brother John. Bob was one of my best friends in high school and after . He was such a great person with a huge heart and was extremely funny with a great sense of humor. We had so many adventures and fun times together. I moved to Arizona and after a few years we lost touch. I regret that. Thanks for the fantastic memories Bob. love you man . RIP Bob Paulus!
