Mary, I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mother. There are no words that can tell you how much I am thinking of you and how I feel your pain. We are never ready to lose our parents. When dad passed, an elderly person at my church told me, "we get through it because we have to" - simple but powerful. I am praying for you to feel God's peace during this time. May He wrap his arms around you and bring you comfort. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted (Matthew 5:4)
