Francesco Magnanini

Francesco Magnanini of Wallkill, NY, went into rest Friday, October 19, 2018 at his home in Wallkill.  He was 88 years old. 

The son of the late Pasquino and Paulina Comis Magnanini, Frank was born September 23, 1930 in Pozzale Pieve di-Cadore,Italy. Frank served in the US Army from March 12, 1956- March 11, 1958, where he received a medal of good conduct. He was also the owner of Magnanini Terrazzo and Tile Company, located in Wallkill. Frank was married for 64 years to Anita Magnanini and had six children together. He enjoyed fishing with his wife and grandchildren, watching his grandsons play baseball, and his daily visits to the Stewarts Shop in Wallkill. 

Frank is survived by his wife Anita Magnanini at home; Son, Frank John Magnanini and wife Terri of Wallkill; daughters Vanda Magnanini Barry of Montgomery, Dorina Magnanini DiMartino and husband Ralph of Walden, Phyllis Magnanini Bean of Tennessee, Valerie Magnanini Schurko and husband Matt of Gardiner; son-in-law John Endecott of Montgomery; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Frank was predeceased by his two brothers, Renzo and Galba Magnanini, and his daughter Nelda Magnanini Endecott.
  
Frank has eight grandchildren, Daniel Barry (Kim), Shannon DeLoe (Casey), Ronald DeGroodt II, John DeGroodt, Alyssa Lapinski, Jordan Schurko, Tyler Bean, and Casey Bean Anderson (Ryan). He also has 5 great grandchildren; Kayla Barry, Daniela Barry, Mia DeLoe, Ronald DeGroodt III, and Myah Valdez. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday November 1, 2018, from 2-5pm, at Wallkill Funeral Home, 12 Bonaventura Ave., Wallkill, NY 12589. There will be a short memorial service during that time.
