Geraldine B (Bonczek) Kirby

Geraldine B. Kirby of Wallkill, NY, a lifelong resident of the area died May 8, 2018 in Newburgh.  She was 67. 

The daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Bonczek, she was born April 16, 1951 in Goshen.

Gerry was an avid quilter; she belonged to various local quilting guilds throughout her years. She was a retired Human Resource Director; she worked for Planned Parenthood for 28 years.   

She was the widow of William J. Kirby.

Survivors include her son Michael Kirby and his wife Laura of Wallkill, NY, son  Daniel Kirby and his wife Chrystal of Coatsville, PA; granddaughter   Katelyn Kirby; sister Carole Morris and her husband Hal of Rowlett, TX, sister Barbara Mitchell and her husband Kevin of Middletown, NY, brother-in-law C. Fred Kirby and his wife Patricia of Middletown, NY, sister-in-law     Bonnie Martin and her husband Thomas of Kennett Square, PA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, May 11, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8pm. at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St. Montgomery, NY.

Funeral services will be 10 am, Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Montgomery, NY.

There will be a memorial mass on Saturday, May 19, at 10 am in Holy Name of Mary Church, Montgomery.
