Obituary

Carmine C. Caccamo Sr. of Pine Bush passed peacefully in his home March 1st. He was 84.

Carmine enjoyed Italian food, carpentry, camping and lake fishing.  He loved music, a good story and every Monday phoning each member of  “the gang”, his group of friends.  He truly missed his wife Marion who predeceased him by nearly 7 years.

He left behind a son Carmine Caccamo Jr. of Middletown, a niece Joanne Scheinin, a nephew John Barone of the Bronx, stepdaughters Brenda Miller of Walden and Bonnie Gingras of Montgomery, and a Stepson David Whitney of California.

The son of Italian immigrants Vincent and Giuseppina Caccamo, Carmine grew up in the Bronx.  He was retired from Carpenters Local Union #279.

A Celebration of Life will be held in July.

Contributions can be made to the Walden Humane Society.
