Carolyn Zenobia Wright

Sunday, December 2, 2018, Carolyn Zenobia Wright of Walden, NY passed away peacefully just as she lived.  The daughter of the late Arthur and Helen Bailey, Carolyn was born on September 16, 1928 in Glen Cove NY. Carolyn married the love of her life Albert C. Wright who survives her at home.Survivors include brother Richard Bailey of Florida, sister Linda Bizjak of Ohio, and sister-in-law Ruth Kirk of New York;  three sons, Albert and his wife Kathleen of Walden, NY, Austin and his wife Margie of Canandaigua, NY and Michael and his wife Terri of Barefoot Bay, FL; two daughters, Donna Sullivan of Calabash, NC and Rebecca Pace and her husband Bucky of New Paltz, NY; seven grandchildren, Kyle Winter and his wife Dee, Kim Keller and her husband Matthew, Emily and Benjamin Pace, Tyler Wright and his wife Megan, Eliott and Abigail Wright;and nine great grandchildren Michael, Nicole Ashley, Hannah, Leah, Thomas, Joshua, Andrew and William; and six great-great grandchildren Riley, Maddie, Claire, Aryelle, Sawyer and Lucas. Carolyn was predeceased by her three brothers; Eugene, Norman and Jimmy and two sisters June and Diane.Her family was her greatest joy.   Nothing gave her greater pleasure than to be surrounded by multi- generations of loved ones at family gatherings. Carolyn was an avid knitter, beginning with crafting sweaters during World War II for soldiers to supplying needy families with hats.  Hundreds of her creations have found the way to children around the world and soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.Carolyn loved music and had a beautiful voice that could be heard so often around the home and at church services.  She was loved deeply and will be missed greatly.

Visitation will be Friday December 7, 2018 from 12 noon to 1 pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden, NY 12586.

A funeral service will follow at 1pm in the funeral home.
Fr Bill Muhm will officiate.
