Emily Esther Mont of Middletown, NY passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

The daughter of Michael and Shirley Mont, she was born August 11, 2022, in Warwick, NY.

Emily was a sweet, loving girl filled with joy and love. She filled our family's hearts with love and happiness. She loved playing hide and seek, tickling each other, and loved playing at the park. Emily loved seeing animals and making animal noises. Emily loved being silly with her dad. They would laugh together as they played. Emily loved to play dress up and go shopping with her mom. She brought our entire family together with her lovely smile. Everyone who met Emily had their hearts melted by her playful and cute personality. She always loved running around and playing with her 4 year old brother Martin. She brought much joy and happiness to everyone, especially those at St. Judes Hospital in Memphis, TN.

She is survived by her parents Michael and Shirley Mont, brother Martin, Grandparents Marianne Mont, Ailing Zhang, and Bingzhao Liu, Uncles Matthew and Mark Mont.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather Michael Mont.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 2pm-5pm, at Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union Street, Montgomery, NY 12549.
