Gavin J. Santiago Jr.

Gavin Jordan Santiago Jr. of Wallkill, NY, passed away peacefully on March 3rd, 2023. He was just under 7 months old.

The son of Stacie L. Schoonmaker and Gavin J. Santiago Sr, he was born August 8th, 2022 in Westchester, NY.

Despite his brief time with us, Gavin Jr. brought us immeasurable joy, love, and happiness. He was a beautiful gift from God, and we were so grateful for the time we had with him. His big bright eyes and little squeaky sounds filled our hearts, and his innocence reminded us of the beauty of life. While we mourn his loss, we find solace in knowing that he is not suffering anymore and that he is surrounded by the love of God. Until we meet again, our sweet angel boy, may he rest in eternal peace.

Gavin is survived by his parents, older sister Natalie, great grandparents Mary, Jerry, Miriam, and Carmen S., Grandparents Richard Sr., Laurie, Ramon, Carmen D., Elio and Felipe Jr., His Uncle Manny and Kia with his cousins Jael and Milani, Uncle Dan and Crystal, Aunt Jacki and wife Jen, and Uncle Rick and wife Maura with his cousin Alyssa. As well as many more aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Gavin was predeceased by his great grandparents Richard, Rosie, Rafael, and Felipe Sr.

Visitation will take place Friday, March 17, 2023, from 1:00-3:00pm at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden NY, 12586.

A memorial service will follow at 3:30pm at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made out to Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley or Hudson Valley Hospice, as these were very helpful to our family in our time of need for Gavin Jr.
