Jean H. “John” Boulidor of Walker Valley, NY, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at home after a short battle with cancer. He was 76.
The son of Emile Boulidor and Anne Mingam Boulidor, he was born September 21, 1945 in Scaer, France.
John was a well-known French chef and was the owner of Bruynswyck Inn, Wallkill, NY. He also cooked at the Motel on the Mountain, Cavu, Club 84, & The Restauration. He loved watching tennis, soccer & Tour de France. He got back into fishing in the last 20 years, especially for trout, which he would serve in the restaurant.
Survivors include his sister Renee LeBeux & her husband Rene of France, nieces Anne & Marie, grand nieces & grand nephews, longtime friend & restaurant manager Lee Ann Muller of Port Orange, FL, close friend Joyce Boniface, friends Jen & Greg Berger, who assisted with his care, hundreds of friends and followers and extended family.
He was predeceased by his parents, aunts & uncles.

Burial will be next to his father in Walker Valley Cemetery after cremation. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
