John W. Carney IV of Milton, NY, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022, in Florida. He was 18.
The son of John W. Carney III and Frances Delaunay, he was born May 20, 2004 in Middletown, NY.
We are so proud of all his accomplishments and the man he was becoming. He was actively working with the YouthBuild of Kingston, where he made many friends and life long bonds. He was learning a trade in construction, which he also got to work with his Dad to finish taping and spackling a house. He had just gotten another job with Panera, that although he was only there a short period of time, was enjoying and excited to be there. In his down time, he loved playing video games, listening to music, watching movies and hanging out, listening to his little sister Ashley (they were best of friends) and enjoying all the fun times with Sean, Amber and Samantha throughout the years.. Beside always having Ashley around, he would always keep his beloved cat Mini and her kittens with them. No words can ease the incredible pain and heartache our family is experiencing as he had a full life ahead of him with so much promise. We will truly miss John every day and keep him always in our hearts.
Survivors include his parents John Carney III & Frances Delaunay; brother Sean Carney, sisters Amber Carney, Samantha Carney, and Ashley Carney; paternal grandma Joanne Barnhart, maternal grandma Holle Domenech & Andy, maternal grandpa Albert Delaunay & Lana; beloved Cat Mini and kittens Goober & Skylar.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandpa John Carney Jr.
Visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2022 from 5-8PM at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY 12586.
