Ruth Ann (Faulkner) Cahill

Ruth Ann Cahill of Montgomery, NY died on July 20, 2020. She was 85 years old

The daughter of Jess Faulkner and Mae Metz. She was born in Mt. Vernon, NY on July 18, 1935

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 45 years, Charles B. Cahill; her sisters Loretta DelBorgo and Joyce Schomer and brother Robert Faulkner

She is survived by her son Brian & Diane Cahill, son Kevin & RoseAnn Cahill, daughter Eileen & Mike Mozingo, and son James and MariClare Cahill, seven grandchildren: Laura & Mike Compton, Jess Cahill, Daniel & Mary Cahill, Sean Cahill, Sarah Cahill, Shannon Mozingo, and Steven Keenan; two great- grandchildren: Kieran Cahill and Paige Compton.

Over the years, Ruth worked in different careers: travel agent, telephone operator, administrative assistant, but her favorite one was being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She was the beacon of light in our loving family.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday June 23, 2020 at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank Street, Walden, NY 12586 Funeral Mass will be held at Most Precious Blood Church, Walden, NY on Friday June 24, 2020 at 10:30 with burial in Newtown, CT.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association in memory of Ruth Cahill
