Edith "Edie" Irene Hoeffner of Montgomery, NY, a Farmer for Hoeffner Farms, Montgomery and a lifelong resident of the area passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017, in Newburgh.  She was 68.

The daughter of the late Arden H. Muller and Alice VanKleeck Muller, she was born July 23, 1948 in Middletown.

Edie also worked as a secretary and a dairy farmer. She was a long time member and supporter of 4-H of Orange County, Orange County Farm Bureau. Edie supported numerous organizations and churches with their fund raisers, being exceptionally generous.

She was the wife of Jack Hoeffner.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her sister Diana Dickinson, infant sister Nancy Muller, Nephew Keifer Muller, Sister in law Clare Hoeffner and brother in law George Hoeffner.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden, NY

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 11, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY.

Burial will be in the Brick Church Cemetery.

Reverend James Van Houten will officiate.
