Rose Lawson of Genoa, NY, formerly of Wallkill, a retired school aide for Wallkill Central School District passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016, Ithaca. She was 89.

The daughter of the late Gregory and Theresa Torelli Pignetti, she was born May 07, 1927 in Newburgh.

She was the widow of Charles Lawson.

Survivors include her daughter Joan Lawson Shadler, daughter Carol Lawson Miller

grandchildren Ryan Shadler, Daniel Shadler, Lindsey Lawson, Ashley Lawson, Hayden Miller, Cullen Miller and Charlie Miller

She was predeceased by her son Robert Lawson

Visitation will be Monday, June 27, 2016 from 10-11am. at Wallkill Funeral Home, 12 Bonaventura Ave. Wallkill, NY.

Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 A.M.

Burial will be in Bruynswick Rural Cemetery in Wallkill, NY.
