Robert “Bob” Dolan of Wallkill, NY, The owner of Dolan Orchards, and a lifetime resident of the area passed away on Thursday June 16, 2016, in Poughkeepsie at the age of 74.

Bob was the son of the late Duane and Madalyn Bell Dolan, he was born October 23, 1941 in Cornwall, NY.  He attended Wallkill High School and was a graduate of SUNY Delhi.  He was a member of the Wallkill Reformed Church, Wallkill Lions Club, Wallkill Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the NYS Farm Bureau. 

Many people knew Bob from stopping at his fruit stand over the years and were quite often the on the receiving end of one of his stories.  He loved people and helping whoever and whenever he could.  He will be missed dearly by those who loved him.

He was married to Judy (Allen) Dolan, on March 2, 1968 in New Hurley Reformed Church.

Survivors include his wife,     Judy at home; daughter,  Kimberly Cosgrove and husband Thomas, son, Matthew Dolan and wife Nicole; grandchildren: Rudy, Destiny, Jade, and Mason; sister,       Diane Hodge and husband Raymond, brother in law William Hadfield, brother in law, William Perry

Bob was predeceased by his sisters, Paula Perry and Linda Hadfield

A memorial service will take place Friday, June 24, at 2:00 pm at the Wallkill Reformed Church, 45 Bridge St., Wallkill, NY 12589.
