Ronald N. Garrison of Goshen, NY, a retired Insulator for Abe Benson, in Rockland County and a resident of the area passed away peacefully on June 28, 2016, in Goshen.  He was 81.

The son of the late Stephen Garrison and Helen Glover Garrison, he was born November 20, 1934, in Da Bronx,N.Y., the fifth child of 11.

He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Ron was a hard worker, usually working three jobs to provide for his family. He cleaned offices as well as worked with his brother Donald at Chester Packing.  He loved the beaches in California and spending time with his family and playing cards with his brothers.  In fact they are probably playing cards right now.

He was the widower of Patricia Robinson Garrison married 42 years at the time of her death.  They married in 1957 and had 4 children.

Son, Jerry Garrison (Lola) of Spring Valley, CA

Daughter Kelly Baksa(Jay)of Galveston Texas

7 Grandchildren, 2 Great grandchildren

Brother, Donald Garrison and his wife Mary of Westbrookville, NY

Brother Butch Garrison and his wife Bunny of Pittston, PA

Sister, Joan Bellino & her husband Angelo of Pittston, PA

he is also survived by many nieces and nephews

He was predeceased by his daughter, Laura Jean Garrison, Brothers, Howard (Skippy), George, Michael, Steve, Arthur(Lefty), sister Barbara Sprauer and son-in-law George Casson.

He Was extremely close to his niece Dawn Moore and granddaughter Alexis

Visitation will be 4-7 PM on Tuesday July 5, 2016 at the Overhiser Funeral Home, 78 Union St., Montgomery, NY 12549, Prayers will follow at 7pm by Bob Mullin.
