My name is Lisa and I am an old acquaintance of Deans Through the Correa family. Just looking at this wonderful picture of his spirit makes me happy and sad. How could that smile not bring joy? We spent a few memorial weekends up in Lake George. Dean was warm, friendly, kind. In talking to a few old friends they remember him as funny. In his death, I learned so much more about him through the people closest to him and through his social media. That he ministered to people and was selfless became apparent. Through viewing his posts on faith, he strengthened mine. We are just so sad he is gone. I feel like his legacy is in teaching others how to live. I will always remember that he prayed over those cookies, and I will try to keep that tradition. We should be as good. Dean, we remember the laughs, the good times. No-one ever had a bad word to say about you. I wish I spent more time talking to you the last time we saw each other. I am glad it was fast, that you never saw it coming. The last thing you told me was that you were happy. We should all be so blessed. My sincerest condolences to his wife, family, children and close friends. We are devastated.

So sorry to hear about Dean. My deepest condolences to his Mom, wife and children and siblings. Cher, I remember Dean best from when he was installing the carpet at Cherry Lane.. always so pleasant and outgoing, a super nice guy. From reading the memories of him, he remained the same as he was then.. always trying to add some joy to your day. I know he will be greatly missed, but I hope each of you will find some peace and comfort knowing he is with the Lord. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

We are so very sorry for your loss, words cannot express how deeply saddened we are of Deans passing. Whenever we spoke he greeted us with his warm smile and generous nature, always ready to lend an ear to listen about our daily lives. After we’ve spoken he always had a positive outlook to share, he always left us feeling better than we did before talking with him. He was the most kindest and generous man we’ve ever met. We will miss him dearly.......so very sorry.

So sorry to learn of Dean's passing; he was always a great guy to talk to, always positive and outgoing. I knew him in school many, many years ago and he used to stop and chat when he was in the Thruway Market(I used to work there). He'd always ask how I was and what the family was up to; just friendly chat, but, he always made a person feel good after the conversation was over. Always a pleasure to talk with him. My sincere condolences to his wife and family. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Dean will always be thought of fondly. Whenever we would run into him he always had a smile and kind words to share. A trip to the Thruway Market won’t be the same without the possibility of running into Dean.
When our son died we were the recipients of his delicious cookies, his thoughtfulness will always be remembered.
We are praying for God to give Deans entire family peace and comfort today and in all the days to come.
