Dean Paul Revoir of Walden, NY, a retired Commercial Floor Installer for Carpenters local 251, and a lifetime resident of the area, passed away on Wednesday January 17, 2018, in Newburgh. He was 55.
The son of Barbara Jean Curtis Revoir and the late John Paul Revoir, he was born May 09, 1962 in Newburgh, New York.
Dean’s greatest pleasures were golfing, darts, card games, baking and spoiling his wife and 3 furry children. Dean touched many people throughout his life. His generosity was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was a dedicated father; not only to his children, but to his siblings as well. Dean had the gift of discernment and knew how to brighten a persons life with a laugh, a cookie, and a smile. He loved God and sought to do His will in any way he could. His entire community will best remember him for his chocolate chip cookie ministry.
Survivors include his wife Diana (Shiner) of Walden, NY; son John Revoir & partner, Maggie Charlie of California; daughter Laureena Revoir & fiancé Alex DeJesus Perez of North Carolina; mother Barbara Jean Revoir; sisters Alicia Cicio of Newburgh, Cheri Revoir of Island Heights, NJ, Angela Santoro & her husband, Mike of Columbia, SC; brothers David Rivera & his wife Jennifer of Plattekill and Christopher Rivera of Plattekill. Sister & Brother in law Donna & Don Summers of CT; & father in law Earl Shiner of Florida
He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Nieces and Nephews
He was predeceased by his father.
Visitation will be 12-2 & 4-6 pm on Sunday January 21, 2018 at the Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St., Walden, NY.
Funeral services will follow at 6 pm at the funeral home. Pastor Tom Simpson and Pastor Dave Zirilli will officiate.
